Download Facebook Videos on Android
Works in Chrome and Samsung Internet — nothing to install. Paste a link to start.
No account required · No app required · Public videos only
Step by step on Android (Chrome)
- In the Facebook app, open the video or Reel, tap Share, then Copy link.
- Open Chrome and go to this page.
- Touch and hold the box above, tap Paste, then tap Download.
- Choose a quality. Chrome shows a download notification while the file saves.
- Find the video in your Downloads folder (or the Files app), and in your gallery app once it has been scanned.
Using Samsung Internet?
The steps are the same. Samsung Internet saves files to the Downloads folder by default and shows its own download progress in the notification shade.
Good to know on Android
- The highest quality of some videos takes a few extra seconds while we prepare the file — here’s why. Qualities marked Ready now start instantly.
- Quality labels are the real qualities the video exists in — nothing is upscaled or invented.
- Only public videos and Reels are supported — nothing behind a login.
Honesty note: downloads are served in the standard way Android browsers expect, but we have not yet completed verification on physical Android phones. See how we test for exactly what has and hasn’t been verified.
