Facebook videos and Reels
PasteToSave supports public Facebook videos and Facebook Reels, including links copied from the Facebook app, fb.watch short links, and share links. Private videos, friends-only posts and content inside private groups are not supported — the service only works with content anyone can already watch without logging in. Video quality — real labels only
The qualities you see — such as 1080p or 720p — are the qualities the video is genuinely available in at the source. PasteToSave never invents, upscales or relabels a quality. If a video was only uploaded in 720p, that is the best you will see, because it is the best that exists.
Why some videos take a little longer
At their highest quality, some Facebook videos — especially Reels — store the picture and the sound as two separate files. When you pick one of those qualities, PasteToSave first combines them into a single normal video file, then starts your download. In our testing this usually takes around 10–15 seconds. Qualities marked Ready now skip this step and download immediately.
Your privacy
No account, no Facebook login, no app. Videos pass through to your device — PasteToSave does not keep a library of what you download. How do I download a Facebook video?

Can I download Facebook Reels?
Yes. Paste a Reel link the same way you would a normal video link. Because Reels often store picture and sound separately at their highest quality, the best-quality option can take a few extra seconds while we put them together for you.
Do I need to install an app?
No. PasteToSave works entirely in your web browser on phones, tablets and computers. There is nothing to install.
Do I need to log in to Facebook or create an account?
No. You never enter any Facebook details, and PasteToSave has no user accounts. Just paste a link.
What quality will I get?
PasteToSave shows the real qualities the video is actually available in — for example 1080p or 720p — and marks the best one. We never invent or upscale a quality that does not exist at the source.
Why is the highest quality sometimes slower?
Some videos store their picture and sound as separate files at the highest quality. When that happens, PasteToSave combines them into one normal video file before your download starts, which usually adds a few extra seconds. Qualities marked “Ready now” download immediately.
Can I download private videos?
No. PasteToSave only works with public Facebook videos and Reels. Videos shared with friends only, in private groups, or behind a login cannot be downloaded, by design.
Does PasteToSave store my videos?
No. Videos pass through to your device — we do not keep a library of downloaded videos. When we prepare a best-quality file for you, that file is kept only temporarily so repeat downloads are fast, then removed. See our Privacy page for details.
Why isn’t my link working?
Check that the video is public and that you copied the full link. Links copied from the Facebook app sometimes point to a share page — pasting them still works in most cases, but if it fails, open the video in a browser and copy the address from there. Very fresh links occasionally need a second try.
Where does the video go after I download it?
Wherever your browser saves downloads. On iPhone (Safari) that is the Downloads folder in the Files app. On Android (Chrome) it is the Downloads folder, and you’ll usually see a notification. On a computer it is your Downloads folder.
